What goes on holiday stays on holiday. On Saturday 21st October 8 MX-5 cars from the RPM chapter left HARTLEY for our 8 day venture down the south coast and up into the snowy mountains.

How does this sound? A fine morning, a drive up Macquarie Pass to morning tea then a drive down Jamberoo Mountain for lunch at Jamberoo Pub. Great company, great drive nice lunch.

Boorowa welcomed our fourteen cars with plenty of parking outside the Courthouse Hotel. It's a quintessential country pub where we were warmly received, and enjoyed a pleasant and leisurely lunch with the usual large servings of a country pub.

The road to Wee Jasper demands caution—narrow roads, wildlife encounters, a few potholes, a dodgy cattle grid, and a little loose debris across the track. But for all that, it is a lovely country trip through picturesque farmland and forest, with a few good twisties for driver enjoyment, and gorgeous scenery for the passengers.
